Pioneer MotoCorp Pvt. Ltd. has officially launched Zeekr, a premium luxury electric vehicle (EV) brand from China’s Geely Holding Group, in Nepal.
The launch event took place in Kathmandu and featured prominent guests, including the Honorable Mr Devendra Dahal, Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, and other key figures from Zeekr and Sharda Group.
Zeekr X was recently showcased at the NADA Auto Show in Standard and Flagship variants. The company claims Zeekr competes with top brands like Tesla, Audi, and BMW, offering high performance and advanced features. The Zeekr X, built on the SEA electric platform, shares its platform with the Volvo EX30 for a premium driving experience.
The Zeekr X is priced at Rs 84.99 lakh for the single-motor Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) model and Rs 1.54 crore for the dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) version.
The single-motor model has 200 kW power and 343 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. The dual-motor version offers 315 kW power and 543 Nm of torque, reaching 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. Both variants feature a 66 kWh battery, providing a range of 440 km (single-motor) and 420 km (dual-motor) on the WLTP cycle.
The Zeekr X boasts a sleek design with a long wheelbase, sporty lines, and a panoramic sunroof. Its dimensions are 4450 mm in length, 1836 mm in width, and 1572 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2750 mm. The interior includes an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel, a 24.3-inch head-up display, a 14.6-inch central infotainment screen, and ventilated front seats.
